    Christmas is coming….

    ….and so is HAH! BumHug…

Get into the Christmas spirit at Cranborne Village Hall with our next Artsreach performance. On Friday 5th December, The Lonely Clown Club is bringing HAH! BumHug to Cranborne, a highly-entertaining and funny re-telling of the classic Dickens story for adults and children alike. If you ever wondered what happened to Tiny Tim after the ghosts scarpered and he grew up, then this is your chance to find out.

The performance starts at 7pm. Tickets are £12.50; under 18s £6; family ticket £35. Book tickets by calling Alison Lawson on 01725 517028 or by visiting www.artsreach.co.uk. Be quick though: tickets are already selling!

And why not make an evening of it? You can pre-order a two-course light festive supper served before the performance at convivial communal tables (separate children’s menu). Interval snacks will also be available. Full details on Cecil Memorial Hall 2024 – Cranborne Village Hall and via 01725 517028.

Come and try pickleball this Saturday

Pickleball is coming to Cranborne Village Hall this Saturday 8th November. This is your chance to give this fantastic sport a go. And we’ve got a great pickleball coach coming to show us all how it’s done.

Pickleball is a bit like tennis but using bats similar to large ping pong bats and a lighter ball. It’s great fun and much easier to pick up than tennis.

Come along between 3pm and 5pm to try it out. Just bring your trainers.

It would be good to know numbers in advance so email anna@cranbornevillagehall.org.uk or WhatsApp 07748 522218 to register interest.

    What a night!

It was a fantastic night when the Great Big Cranborne Quiz returned to the village hall. It was a hard-fought contest and in the end only half a point separated the top two teams. The Cottage Mewsers just sneaked it and won the coveted Book and Bucket Cheeseboard as well as bragging rights on the streets of Cranborne. Congratulations to the winners!
