    Pickleball starts tomorrow

If you fancy taking up a new sport, then you might like to try pickleball. And starting tomorrow, there’s going to be a regular pickleball session at Cranborne Village Hall, every Thursday, 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Pickleball is a bit like tennis but on a smaller court and with solid bats. It’s easy to pick up and fun to play. Come along and join us. Just bring your trainers – all other equipment is provided. It’s £5 a session. We’re all learning so no experience needed.

Come and try pickleball this Saturday

Pickleball is coming to Cranborne Village Hall this Saturday 8th November. This is your chance to give this fantastic sport a go. And we’ve got a great pickleball coach coming to show us all how it’s done.

Pickleball is a bit like tennis but using bats similar to large ping pong bats and a lighter ball. It’s great fun and much easier to pick up than tennis.

Come along between 3pm and 5pm to try it out. Just bring your trainers.

It would be good to know numbers in advance so email anna@cranbornevillagehall.org.uk or WhatsApp 07748 522218 to register interest.

    Pickleball comes to Cranborne

Fancy playing pickleball? Here’s a date for your diary. On Saturday 8th November we’ll be welcoming a pickleball coach to Cranborne Village Hall to show us all how it’s done. This is your chance to find out more about this really great sport and give it a go.

Pickleball is a bit like tennis but using bats similar to large ping pong bats and a lighter ball. It’s great fun and much easier to pick up than tennis.

We’ve been able to buy a pickleball net, bats and balls thanks to a grant from Dorset Council. Now we want to get everyone playing!

Come along between 3pm and 5pm to find out more about this new sport and also about our plans for both a regular pickleball club and for ‘pay and play’ private hiring. The session is free: just bring trainers.

It would be good to know numbers in advance so email anna@cranbornevillagehall.org.uk or WhatsApp 07748 522218 to register interest.

    What a night!

It was a packed house at Cranborne Village Hall when Michell, Pfeiffer and Kulesh gave a magical performance of their beautiful multi-lingual songs. Thank you to Artsreach for enabling events such as this to come to our villages.

Our next Artsreach event is on Friday December 5th when Ha! BUMHUG, a Christmas show for all the family, comes to the hall. Watch this space for more details, or visit www.artsreach.co.uk to find out more.

    What a night!

It was a fantastic night when the Great Big Cranborne Quiz returned to the village hall. It was a hard-fought contest and in the end only half a point separated the top two teams. The Cottage Mewsers just sneaked it and won the coveted Book and Bucket Cheeseboard as well as bragging rights on the streets of Cranborne. Congratulations to the winners!
